Services (CADDS Service Code 862)<\/h3>\n<p>In-Home Respite Services is a non-medical service that provides primary caregivers with a temporary break from caring for their loved ones with intellectual and\/or developmental disabilities. Services may be provided intermittently or on a regularly scheduled basis to provide temporary supervision and support in the home.<\/p>\n<p>Families can select a secondary caregiver they trust who will be paid through Aven Care Providers for the care they provide. Families may choose a family member, excluding a parent or legal guardian, a friend, or another trusted person within their social and familial circle. Families may select multiple caregivers as needed to assist with their loved one&#8217;s care needs.
