Course Description:
This 21-hour course prepares students to obtain their PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP®) certification. The PMI-ACP® is the world’s most recognized and respected project management credential. This course follows PMI’s 2018 Exam Content Outline and is aligned with the Project Management Institutes Agile Practice Guide (2017), and other agile project management resources. This dynamic course helps students develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in agile principles and mindset, value-driven delivery, stakeholder engagement, team performance, adaptive planning, problem detection and resolution, and continuous improvement. The course covers a variety of agile methodologies including Scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP), and Lean. Students who complete this course will be ready to apply agile methodologies and work as effective members of an agile team in various industries.
Prerequisites for the PMI-ACP® Exam:
- A high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)
- 12 months of experience on a project team (within the last 5 years) or PMP® Certification
- 8 months of agile experience (within the last 3 years)
- 21 hours of agile education/training (this course meets the agile education requirements)
