Home Health Aid Program
Graduates of our Home Health Aid (HHA) Program will receive a certificate. Program length at Techni-Pro Institute for full-time students is 75 hours on average; but can be finished between 1 to 4 weeks depending on student’s availability. With longer life expectancy, “the risk of outliving savings, paying for elder care and being unable to leave a legacy to our children has increased,” says Aaron Schindler, a certified financial planner and owner of Care Concierge NY. The company provides long-term, in-home health services in the greater New York City region and New Jersey. Those trends are fueling rapid growth in the home health care field. The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the number of home health aides (HHAs) and personal care aides will rise from about 3.3 million in 2018 to 4.4 million in 2028 — a 36% increase, much faster than the average across all occupations.
