Nursing – LPN Program

Graduates of our LPN Program are prepared as Practical Nurses receiving a diploma, and possibly being referred to the NCLEX for licensing. Once you pass the NCLEX your title will change to Licensed Practical Nurse. LPNs are able to practice at many different medical facilities; more so they are essential to hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices and other healthcare facilities. They also work with individuals to provide one-on-one, private care. As part of their daily routine, LPNs provide essential care for patients that can range from feeding and bathing to checking vital signs and administering medication. One reason that becoming an LPN is an attractive career option is that the profession is forecast to experience double-digit growth over the next few years. Some experts put the growth rate at as high as 25%. For more information about LPNs head over to Nursing.org When done with Nursing.org close the tab and you will be brought back to this page. Program length for full-time students is 12 months on average.
